Fuel tanker catches fire at Marley Head

A fuel tanker has caught fire at Marley Head and caused the A38 to be closed in both directions.
Ivybridge and Rural Police have stated, "The A38 at Marley Head, both directions- currently closed. Several fire appliances are dealing with a fuel tanker that has caught fire. The fire is currently confined to the cab area and fire are working to make the situation safe.
Unknown how long the road will be closed for. Will update as soon as I know.

1831hrs Fire appears to be out. We are awaiting a new cab before the fuel is uncoupled and removed so that the fire damaged cab can be made completely safe."
