Minute guns will be fired to mark Her Majesty The Queen's State Funeral tomorrow.
The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta Committee announced that they, along with Dartmouth Town Council, Dartmouth Bell Ringers and with "kind permission and assistance" from Dart Harbour Navigation Authority, have organised for minute guns to be fired in the town tomorrow, Monday, 19 September.
A spokesperson said: "The Salute will be fired from mid-stream of the river starting at approximately 12.10pm for up to 50 minutes" as "Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, our Royal Patron, moves from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch in London as part of Her State Funeral".
They added: "There will be guns and bells marking our Royal Patron’s final journey and commemorating Her life, service, and duty. The guns will be best viewed from the area of the Boatfloat bridge."
