Two local companies have merged to create a watersports haven in Dartmouth

The Paddleshack and Sea Kayak Devon are coming together to create a fantastic one-stop-shop for watersports in Dartmouth.

While Sea Kayak Devon already provided Stand Up Paddleboarding to their clients, bringing The Paddleshack on board has created a broader experience for both sports.

Sea Kayak Tours - Sea Kayak Devon

Sea Kayak Devon and The Paddleshack have always worked closely together and the two businesses were owned by long-term friends. Ben Brierley set up Sea Kayak Devon while driving boats for Monty Halls, which is where he met Sophie Copeman, who works alongside him, and Alana Bonnick, who founded The Paddleshack.

The friends have supported each other through the years and when Alana decided to step back from the business, it just made sense for Sea Kayak Devon to absorb The Paddleshack and become one company.

Paddleboarding Adventure - Sea Kayak Devon

Ben has been working in the outdoor education field since he was 20-years-old and is an experienced instructor in not only kayaking and paddleboarding but skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering and climbing.

Sea Kayak Devon offers courses and guided trips. Their experienced and highly qualified team will make sure you have the best experience on the water in our stunning scenery.

Whether you want to learn how to plan your day on the board or in the kayak safely, or just take a leisurely paddle to beautiful places, Sea Kayak Devon is who you need.
