Contemporary art gallery in Dartmouth showcasing original artworks, prints, jewellery, craft and printmaking.

Established since 2006, Baxters Gallery is inviting and inspiring. The relaxed atmosphere gives you plenty of time to choose from the wide range of work from new and established artists. The selection includes many pieces from the West Country but gallery owner Sarah Duggan doesn't limit herself just to local. If she finds an artist whose work she loves, it will feature in the gallery. Sarah's aim is to exhibit art that will make you smile and to offer you a happy shopping experience.

Baxters is on the corner of Foss St and Flavel St in the heart of Dartmouth. The bright and airy space showcases several themes. Much inspiration is drawn from the Devon and Cornwall coastlines, captured by many of the artists. Other work reflects a subtle sense of humour or the quirkiness of animal-life. A programme of changing exhibitions and the introduction of new work ensures an interesting visit for art lovers.

Baxters has an online shop that shows work from many different mediums and can often source other items from our artists and makers that you won’t see at the gallery. We also accept commissions so do ask if you can’t see what you’re looking for.
