Appeal following vehicle theft in Dartmouth

Police are appealing for witnesses in connection to a report of an attempted vehicle theft in Dartmouth.

Officers were called at around 8am on 31 May to Archway Drive following a report that a group of people had taken a blue truck. It was also reported that members of the public nearby had stopped the vehicle and intervened.

Four males aged 17, 22, 23 and 24, from London, have since been arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft. They remain on police bail at this time.

Investigating officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries over the past few months and are now appealing to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information and hasn’t yet spoken to us, to please get in touch.
