Local Coastguard Rescue teams rescued a three-legged dog who fell off a cliff.
Kingsbridge and Bigbury Coastguard Rescue Teams were called to a report of a dog going over the cliff near South Milton Sands.

A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Coastguard Rescue Teams said: "The first Coastguard Rescue Officers on scene quickly located the owners and guided the response vehicles to the best access points.
"The dog, a 40kg Greek mountain sheep dog …. with three legs had slipped approximately 10m down a 40m cliff.
"Due to the loose cliff face, we quickly set up for a rope rescue, and deployed a rope technician down to recover this gentle giant. He was clearly glad to see our rope tech and happily got into the animal rescue bag (the dog biscuits may have helped).
"The team recovered them back to the top where he was reunited unharmed with his owners.
"Please keep your dogs on a lead when walking the coast path. If your dog does go over the cliff, DO NOT attempt to carry out a rescue yourself. Dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard."
