@SHDC : Rather than suspending garden waste completely , why not alternate the collections more and collect recycling every other week, (like many other councils) leaving drivers and crew to at least collect SOME garden waste perhaps just 4 weekly rather than bi-weekly. Communication is free, and residents can hold onto recycling a bit more, as it’s wasteful of resource emptying half full containers

So far we have no food waste collection, no brown bin collection, and most weeks no recycling collection AND its being mixed so poorly recycling quality. Not in the spirit of a climate emergency.
