Malborough fireworks display has been postponed due to gale force winds.

Organisers have made the decision to postpone the event until Friday, November 12, due to gale force winds expected across the South Hams this evening.

A social media post states: "It is with great sadness and disappointment that we're having to postpone the fireworks until Friday, 12 November.

"Public safety is paramount and with gale force winds forecast this evening we have no choice but to postpone.

"Apologies to all who were planning to come. We very much hope to see you next Friday. Timings and venue remain the same."
