Local photographer wins bronze award
A local photographer has won another Bronze Award in the Professional Photographers Image of the Month competition.
Martyn Norsworthy entered the competition, which attracts almost 1,500 entries each month, with an image of a wedding he shot in Bristol.
The Guild of Photographers is a highly regarded national photographic body and its members are dedicated to enhancing their skills in the art, craft and profession of photography.
They are committed to achieving the highest standards of professionalism for the benefit of their customers. They pledge themselves to delivering the highest standards of customer service and to a journey of continuing professional development.
Martyn said: “I’m really, really happy to achieve this award for a wedding image, this year I am chasing the Photographers Bar for the Wedding Category!”
Lesley Thirsk, a director of the Guild said: “I am delighted that Martyn has achieved this award! The Guild has very demanding standards when judging photographic competitions. In fact, the judging is undertaken by a panel of internationally recognised experts from a variety of photographic backgrounds, so it is an achievement to be, quite rightly, proud of!”
