Local photographer wins three bronze awards

Local Photographer Martyn Norsworthy of Norsworthy Photography has again achieved the distinction of winning three Bronze Awards in the Guild of Professional Photographers Image of the Month competition.

On hearing the news, Martyn said: "So thrilled to get yet more awards this month! I am heading to gaining the Photographers Bar for Weddings!"

These images were shot at two weddings in the Westcountry. Rob and Tom’s Wedding at the now closed Buckland tout-Saints Hotel. And Clare and Dave’s Wedding at The Dartmouth Hotel.

The Guild of Photographers is a highly respected national photographic body and its members are dedicated to enhancing their skills in the art, craft and profession of photography. Those in business are also committed to achieving the highest standards of professionalism for the benefit of their customers. They pledge themselves to delivering the highest standards of customer service and to a journey of continuing professional development.

Steven and Lesley Thirsk, Directors of the Guild, said: “We are both delighted yet again that Martyn has achieved this award! The guild has very demanding standards when judging photography competitions. In fact, the judging is undertaken by a panel of internationally recognised experts from a variety of photographic backgrounds, so it is an achievement to be, quite rightly, proud of!”
