Fisherman airlifted off cliffs at Bolt Head
A fisherman has been airlifted off the cliff at Bolt Head after sustaining a serious leg injury.
Kingsbridge and Bigbury Coastguard Rescue Teams were called alongside Devon Air Ambulance on Sunday, 24 March, to a fisherman who had sustained a serious leg injury.

Once on the scene members of Kingsbridge Coastguard Rescue Team provided casualty care alongside the Devon Air Ambulance paramedics.
In the end, due to the dangerous location, it was decided that the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter - Rescue 924 from Newquay were tasked to winch the casualty off the cliff.

A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Coastguard Rescue Team said: "A great team effort from all involved and we wish the casualty a speedy recovery. Remember if a coastal emergency, dial 999 and ask for the coastguard."
