Police are appealing for witnesses after man hit by car
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man is left with "serious injuries" after being hit by a car.
Police are investigating an incident that occurred today, Friday, 16th April, at around 1.25pm on Cliff Road, Salcombe.
The incident, in which a man was struck by a grey Audi Q7, occurred just before the war memorial and left the pedestrian with "serious" and "life-changing injuries", including a broken femur that will require surgery. The driver stayed at the scene.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "If you witnessed the incident, or may have dash cam footage from 1300hrs - 1330hrs on Cliff Road then please contact the officer in charge, PC Neil Titford by emailing
