Aune Valley Meat and Valley View Cafe offer the perfect combination for food lovers.  With a retail farm shop situated in the heart of the South Hams together with a traditional butchers (plus so much more) in nearby Modbury, you can enjoy a taste of Devon in town and in the country!

This long standing family run business prides itself on only offering the very best produce from their own and local farms together with selected suppliers and producers whose ranges meet the family’s own exacting standards.

Situated between Kingsbridge and Loddiswell, the ever expanding Farm Shop caters to both the retail and catering trade whilst the Modbury shop also carries a wide and varied range of local produce.

From pickles to patés; cheeses, olives and fresh baked bread; jams and sweet treats; plus home made pasties and pies all lovingly prepared and baked on site, the in-house Deli is a treasure trove of delights.  And with the Farm Shop offering fresh eggs and vegetables, all sourced from local farms, to complement their fantastic choices of expertly butchered meats you will find all you need to create mouthwatering meals, whether a midweek family supper or a special occasion showstopper.

Sunday: 9am to 4pm (Sunday brunch served 9am until 1pm, Tea & Cakes 1pm - 4pm)

Butchery

The butchery is the heart and soul of Aune Valley Meat and has been run by the same family for over 40 years.  We produce our own Award Winning Lamb and Beef, just 6 miles away on the family farm.  We pride ourselves on supplying the finest locally produced meat.  Our team of friendly butchers are always on hand to offer expert advice. 

Delicatessen

The deli is bursting with a wide selection of Cheeses, Cold Meats, Pate and Olives.  All our baked goods are made on site in the Valley View Cafe kitchen, using the finest ingredients from our Butchery Counter.

Farm Shop

Aune Valley Meat provide a total service to the South Hams Community.  With a wide range of both essential and speciality grocery items.  Our vegetables are sourced as locally as possible, a stones throw away in the beautiful village of South Milton.  The deli counter is brimming with local cheeses, olives and pasties, that are made on site in the Award Winning Valley View Cafe.

Cafe

Valley View Cafe has grown into a little local hotspot for foodie lovers, come rain or shine.  Serving generous portions, fantastic flavours and the freshest possible ingredients.  Enjoy the stunning views from either outside on our sunny decking, or inside the light and airy relaxed cafe, served by our friendly team.  There's even a play area for the little ones!  We look forward to welcoming you!
