A collision between a car and a pedestrian in Totnes has left the pedestrian with "serious injuries". 

A pedestrian has been left with "serious injuries" after the incident on the A381 between the Morrisons petrol station and the bottom of Bridgetown Hill. 

Devon and Cornwall Police are currently on scene and the road is closed. 

A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police states: "Serious RTC A381 Totnes between a car and pedestrian.

"Pedestrian has sustained serious injuries. Road closure in place from A381 roundabout by Morrisons petrol station to the bottom of Bridgetown Hill Totnes whilst officers continue to investigate. Log 557 120223."
