I started Guitar lessons with Toby as a complete beginner, and I am now a confident classical guitar player with strong picking technique. Toby's knowledge of music theory is extensive and applicable to many genres. I am now taking theory lessons with him to help with my song-writing and composition skills. I never thought I would be able to learn to read music, but with Toby's teaching I am now able to read music scores for guitar, voice and piano. Toby is an all round expert in music who teaches with warmth, humour, and sensitivity to different learning needs. Toby's advice in buying new instruments has been invaluable too. I would highly recommend Toby as a music teacher for children or adults of any ability.
