The Dartmouth Food Festival is back for 2019 with a tempting mix of delicious regional food and drink, chef demonstrations, workshops, lively food debates and fun for all the family. Set in the beautiful estuary town of Dartmouth in the South Hams from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th October the 3-day event is a foodie’s heaven, celebrating the very best food, drink and culinary skills from the South West.The festival sees around 20,000 + people flock to the town and is paradise for food fans with more than 100 South West producers showcasing their delicious produce, a packed programme of events and a line up of celebrated chefs demonstrating their skills and inspiring festival goers.
Entry to the festival is free with a charge for some events. Dartmouth Food Festival relies on the generous support of festival sponsors and patrons.
Our real aim is to showcase the best that the South West has to offer – from Ashridge Cider and Cornish Seasalt through to the Devon Scone Company and South Devon Chilli Farm. We also want to shout about our award winning restaurants (The Seahorse, The Elephant in Torquay and the Millbrook Inn, South Pool, to name but a few) and their amazing chefs. Without being too biased, we probably have the most award winning chefs per square foot than anywhere else in the country. And with an abundance of locally-produced, high quality ingredients and a growing reputation for world-class food, Dartmouth is the perfect setting for what has been described as a ‘feast for the senses’.
