Eight-year-old raises a thousand pounds and sets excellent time at 10K Race for Life

Harry Davis has completed the Plymouth 10K Race for Life, coming in 26th out of 279 people. 

Harry Davis, 8, from Kingsbridge, has completed the Plymouth Race for Life in an incredible 54 minutes and 14 seconds, meaning he took 26th place.

As well as completing the race in an excellent time, he also raised more than £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.

Harry ran the race with his dad Jon Davis, and good friend and Exeter Ladies football player Mollie Taylor.

His mum Emily said: "After just 4 practice runs he absolutely smashed it with pure determination the whole way round!"
