Kingsbridge Women have their first match on Sunday

Kingsbridge's newly-formed women's rugby team will have their first match this weekend. 

Kingsbridge Ladies are competing in the Inner Warrier Series and their first match against Chard Ladies takes place at High House on Sunday, 2 October. 

A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Rugby Football Club said: "Some of these incredible women have never even played a match before so this will be a great chance for them to have fun and get a real taste for the game.

"If you'd like to come and support our fantastic women's team then kick off is at 2pm."
