Police called to two incidents at the same time in Kingsbridge
Police cars and an ambulance were seen on Fore Street, Kingsbridge, this morning as officers dealt with two incidents at once.
Patrol cars, including a dog handler, and an ambulance were spotted on Fore Street, Kingsbridge, this morning, as officers dealt with two incidents at the same time.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called at 6.30am on Tuesday, 8 March, following reports of "an altercation having taken place within a property on Fore Street".
One man sustained a facial wound and has been taken to Torbay District Hospital for treatment.
A police spokesperson said: "Localised searches took place to locate the suspect. One man has been detained by officers and is currently receiving treatment at Derriford Hospital; enquiries continue into this matter."
Police received another call at 7.15am following concerns for the welfare of an individual in the area.
The spokesperson explained: "Officers located and spoke with him, but no further action was needed and he was allowed to continue on his way."
