A Yodel delivery van was spotted on the tidal road in Aveton Gifford.

We were sent a photo by "an amused local" who wished to remain anonymous, of a Yodel van that had come a cropper of the tidal road in Aveton Gifford.

He's almost made it too, just 50ft from the end!

There's not really a story here, just a great photo.

And I can laugh hardest because I've done it (photographic evidence below- Sam)

It survived though....😂

Poor signage
This is a recurrent problem on the tidal road. The signs warn for quayside or riverbank. Other tidal roads have an exclamation mark in a red triangle with DO NOT PROCEED WHEN FLOODED written under it. These should be attached to the posts on both sides of the road at bith ends end of the affected stretch of road.
