Having walked around Kingsbridge- we decided to spend a night and relax with supper etc. All was dreadful. Noise - awful decor and tatty rooms. Never again, as we didn't get a good nights sleep, due to the drunk customers - all the evening.
Stayed a night here recently at short noice. Arrived late in the eve but this wasn't a problem. Room was clean and very good value. Good beer and great fish and chips. Would recommend to colleagues.
We stayed in May. Enjoyed wish we had longer. The breakfasts are to dire for how big? Jon, Vic very friendly. Loved the views towards the estuary. Very happy that the bar is dog friendly. We ate in the pub a couple of times. Decent home cooked food. Daily specials. Not expensive. Rooms very comfy nothing to much for them, you only need to ask, they have a ground floor room now if you don't like climbing the steps upstairs. Tuesdare are buy one get one free on fish and chips - better than the chip shop.
Eat here on eevening when holidaying in September 2012. Nice pub just outside Kingsbridge with a mixture of locals and tourists. We at on carvery night and thought it was good value for money.
