We were on holiday and staying in Kingsbridge. Looking for somewhere to eat, four of us and two dogs went to the Ring of Bells. A nice local pub with good friendly service, tasty food and excellent prices (and Linda giving the dogs some treats and water) meant that we went back twice more. Of course, we recommend that you go.
The staff work very hard but I could see where the corners are being cut to stay in business over priced frozen chips frozen peas. Clearly they are doing their best. But the cracks are showing. Very sad.
We had a Sunday lunch with a glass of wine using our Groupon voucher. We both chose beef which was delicious and the carvery vegetables were freshly cooked and delightful. Everyone who served us was smiley, so a huge thank you.
