Beyond the Shoreline

The Plymouth Arts Collective's artists Micahael Battley, Derek Haydon, Robert Housely-Jeive, Stephen Ladds, Sharon Shaw and Richard Stimpson work in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolour and pencil. Their artwork reflects a wide range of interests, inspirations and individual styles from street scenes and seascapes to traditional landscapes, figurative and still life compositions, each bringing their own experience, perspective and creative approach to the group.

As well as enjoying the process of making art, the Collective values the opportunity to show their work. Having originally met through membership of a Plymouth-based Arts Club, friendships grew through their shared enthusiasm for creativity and artistic expression. The diversity of styles, subject matter and techniques creates a varied and engaging collection of work that will appeal to a wide range of tastes.
