A curated collection of local makers, artists, vintage sellers and independent businesses is coming together at the Cider Press in Dartington this September.

The Vintage, Upcycled and Makers Pop-Up Market, organised by Miss Ivy Events, will run from 3 September to 4 October 2026, Thursday to Sunday, 10am–4pm.

The pop-up will bring together an eclectic mix of independent traders selling everything from original art, ceramics, glass and jewellery to vintage and retro clothing and homewares, sustainable gifts, textiles, upcycled pieces and locally produced food and drink.

Rather than a traditional market where individual traders need to staff their own stalls, the event creates a curated shop where visitors can browse products from a wide range of independent businesses in one place.

The September pop-up follows an earlier event at the Cider Press and forms part of a wider ambition to bring more people back to the site and celebrate the creativity and independent businesses found across South Devon.

Visitors can make more of their trip to Dartington too, with two hours free parking, dogs welcome, cafés and independent businesses nearby, and riverside walks on the doorstep.

Throughout September, the pop-up also hopes to introduce visitors to some of the people behind the products, with trader stories, demonstrations and special activities planned.

Jo Macaskie, founder of Miss Ivy Events, said: "We launched the Cider Press initiative with a clear aim: to provide local makers, producers and independent businesses with an affordable and welcoming platform to
showcase and sell their products, while bringing new energy and visitors back to this much-loved venue.

"We’re incredibly excited about this new venture and hope to establish the Cider Press once again as a vibrant destination for shopping, events and community experiences."

The Vintage, Upcycled and Makers Pop-Up Market takes place at The Cider Press, Shinners Bridge, Dartington, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 6TQ, from 3 September–4 October 2026, open Thursday–Sunday, 10am–4pm.

Entry is free.
