The South Devon Pumpkin Patch at Terawhiti Farm has been cancelled.
The South Devon Pumpkin Patch at Terawhiti Farm, South Milton, has been cancelled and will not return after nearly ten years.
On a post on social media, a spokesperson for Terawhiti Farm wrote: "We're getting a lot of enquiries about pumpkin patch this year and sadly we have decided to stop opening the patch to the public for good. Lots of reasons for the decision and we know there will be alot of disappointed families locally.
"We are still growing pumpkins, and will continue to do so for the wholesale market, or for anyone that wants any quantity for events, weddings, failed patches etc as we always have done. They will also be available in our Veg Shed to buy.
"We'd like to thank everyone for their support since we opened to the public back in 2017. We've all had a lot of fun over the years. It's been a difficult decision but all good things must come to an end unfortunately."
The closest Pumpkin Patches are now Pennywell Farm's Pumpkin Festival or the Devon Pumpkin Picking in Paignton. If you know of any closer, let us know!
