Kingsbridge-based wedding photographer Martyn Norsworthy has received an award in the One Eyeland Worlds Top 10 Wedding Photos Competition.

Having entered most years since 2016, Martyn is "overjoyed" to have picked up this award after one of the "toughest years of his career".

One Eyeland is an online platform that showcases photographers' work from across the globe. The World Top 10 is broken down by country, and in the 2020 Winners section there are just three Photographers from the UK, Martyn being one of them. The highest score for UK entries was 'Bronze', with the other images being 'Finalist'. This follows on from Martyn's awards in the 2020 PX-3 and IPA Competitions.

Martyn said: "Its a very tough competition. My winning image 'Sail Away' was shot at a wedding at Soar Mill Cove Hotel, so a local shot at a local venue with a local bride and groom.

"I always enter real wedding images to competitions to show what can be achieved within the time constraints. I like to show clients I can produce award-winning quality in the short time we get."
