KATS performs Calendar Girls to packed houses and raises more than £400 for charity

Kingsbridge Amateur Theatrical Society has finished their run of Calendar Girls and has raised more than £400 for Leukaemia Research.

KATS played to sell out audiences all week, to rave reviews (read our review HERE!) and at those performances, they raffled off an original 2000 calendar from Rylstone WI.

The winner of the raffle and the new proud owner of the calendar is Sharon Pirie of Kingsbridge, and they raised £420 for Leukaemia Research.

Derek Berra, who donated the calendar to KATS, was "delighted" to hear that his late father’s souvenir has continued the fundraising started by the original WI ladies.

We will be bringing you news of the next planned performance from KATS so watch this space!
