Devon and Cornwall Police are hosting webinars this month aimed at "helping older people drive safer for longer".

The webinars (online seminars) aim to "support and engage with the older driver" to help them drive "safely for longer".

The courses will take place on Wednesday 15, Thursday 16 and Friday 17 September. They are free but the spaces are limited so you need to register.

The courses will include:

  • Providing those who wish to continue driving with practical and informative advice on ‘driving safely for longer’
  • Inform the older driver about the risks they face and ways to reduce them.
  • Help to identify when the time has come to retire from driving and offer relevant advice.
  • To give advice to family and friends
