Seal rescued from Hallsands
A seal was lifted off Hallsands beach at 1pm on Thursday after developing an infected eye.
A walker contacted Pete Moore at Forest and Beach on Wednesday about the seal being there, but from the looks of the photo they sent he said she looked "OK".
Pete continued: "But then [Thursday] morning it had an infected eye and cut under her mouth. Decision made by British Divers Marine Life Rescue medics and Salcombe Sea N Shore medic to lift her and take to West Hatch RSPCA.
"Medic Ali Jones took her up to Exeter and pup was relayed up. Probably just weaned, so about three or four weeks old? Looked like she was OK weight wise I should think she should make it.
"Thanks to concerned walkers who phoned this in."
