If you’re familiar with Ashby’s at East Charleton, you’ll have appreciated the convenience of their one-stop shopping experience – practically everything you could possibly need on a daily basis under one roof.

Well, now Ashby’s has opened its long-awaited new leisure superstore at its Yardegate site on the main A381 Malborough to Salcombe road. In line with their original outlet, you’ll find everything from Crocs to conserves and cat food to coasters plus a whole lot more.

In addition, Ashby’s has teamed up with Alex Brazier of the Salcombe Meat Company, famed for its locally sourced and ethically produced premium meat and cheeses. It doesn’t take long for word to spread. Within days of opening the queues were forming, aided by the ample parking available on site.

While visiting, you might want to schedule in a coffee or a light bite at Ashby’s smart and contemporary Blue Whale Café. If the weather is fine you can even take your coffee outdoors onto the terrace to enjoy beautiful views over the rolling South Hams countryside to the estuary in the distance.

Then, before heading home, why not pick up a plant or two from the new nursery, full of beautiful specimens carefully chosen to thrive in the area’s unique coastal climate. With such variety combined with years of experience identifying and satisfying customer needs, the new Ashby’s of Salcombe is well placed to become one of the best shopping experiences around.

Ashby’s of Salcombe is open seven days per week. If you’d like to find out more, why not drop by or give them a ring on 01548 531625.
