Mary Mills Farm - Holiday Lodge in Kingsbridge - Self Catering Holiday Lodge Accommodation nr Kingsbridge, a quiet location in the heart of the South Hams.

Come and relax and unwind in our new lodge on our peaceful farm set in the picturesque South Hams. The Lodge is the only self catering accommodation we have and it has it's own parking area and garden. The garden is fenced and offers a safe area for children and pets.

Accommodation, two double rooms and sleeps up to 6 people

The Lodge is well equipped and offers everything a family needs for a relaxing holiday, peace and tranquility. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and plenty of storage space and the second has 2 divans that can be zipped together to create a double bed. The large openplan lounge/diner and kitchen have panoramic views looking out across the fields and down the valley. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and toaster. The lounge has large comfy sofa's and one unfolds to create another double bed. The Lodge has double glazing and central heating throughout for the colder nights, Linen and duvet are provided but please bring your own towels.

Mary Mills Farm is situated just 2 miles out of Kingsbridge and is central for many of the beautiful beaches of the South Hams, some with sand some with pebbles, all offering something different and unique. Bantham, being approx. 7 miles is the nearest and has sand dunes and fine soft sand, ideal for children. Churchstow and Loddiswell are surrounding villages and both offer well stocked village stores, post office and pub serving fresh local food at reasonable prices. There is a bus stop at Sorley Green Cross for those who want to give the car a rest ! Buses go to Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth and Totnes where further connections can be made.

About our farm

The farm is approximately 70 acres and we have some Charolais beef cows which rear their calves for breeding or slaughter and also we buy in baby calves and rear. There is an old disused railway tunnel that runs through part of the farm and the other part is a steep valley with a stream running through. There is plenty of wildlife to see and amazing views of Kingsbridge and the estuary and miles of surrounding countryside. From the Lodge you can watch the Buzzard Hawks gliding and flying and relax and listen to the variety of birds singing. There is a field available to exercise your dog and tracks you can follow to enjoy the countryside and soak up the peace.
