Woodmeads Bed & Breakfast
We are a bed and breakfast set in the South Hams town of Modbury.
Woodmeads can offer a quiet retreat situated conveniently close to the Maritime city of Plymouth and only 15 minutes from the wonderful beaches of South Devon.
We can accommodate up-to 6 people in our 3 superb double bedrooms.
A full English breakfast is available as are most dietary requirements.
Shilstone wedding venue is close by and Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away.

From our arrival we were so well looked after,we were staying because we were attending a wedding at Shilstone House, Neil and Margaret went above and beyond to make our stay a great one, clean comfortable rooms and a living room and lovely garden to sit in too, fantastic feast at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble, there were 6 of us and our food was lovely and hot, one of our group was bridesmaid and had to be at the venue for 9am, so Neil kindly cooked her breakfast for 8am, bless him, what a star, would totally recommend, thank you so much , Kim, Clive,Jess, Des, Lucy and Chloe .

Lovely peaceful area only got woken up by the birds not any road noise. Lovely people, lovely food.

Lovely comfy bed, superb shower with toiletries, plenty of coffee and tea. Lounge for the sole use of anyone staying.
Fantastic breakfast. Neil and Margaret were great hosts, nothing too much trouble real home from home feel. Gave us good advice about where to eat. The Anchor pub has some lovely food and went every evening of our stay which we would not normally do. Would definitely stay again

The owners, Neil and Margaret were very welcoming and were always available if required. The rooms were very well presented and modern in style and we had three comfortable, quiet and relaxing nights.
Breakfasts were excellent with a great range of options.
This is a fairly new enterprise but the owners previous experience of catering was very evident.
Thoroughly recommended. They deserve to be really successful.
