Local photographer Martyn Norsworthy has won national recognition (again!) at the Guild of Professional Photographers.

Martyn has once again come away with accolades from the Guild of Professional Photographers, taking home not one, but two, bronze awards in the Image of the Month competition.

Martyn said: “WOW what a great month again, two Bronze awards, and I am really pleased with these studio portraits. I can't wait to get back in the studio shooting again!”

The Guild of Photographers is a highly regarded national photographic body and its members are dedicated to enhancing their skills in the art, craft and profession of photography. Their Image of the Month competition attracts almost 1,500 entries.

They are committed to achieving the highest standards of professionalism for the benefit of their customers. They pledge themselves to delivering the highest standards of customer service and to a journey of continuing professional development.

Lesley Thirsk, a Director of the Guild, said that she is “delighted that Martyn has achieved this Award!" She continued: "The Guild has very demanding standards when judging photographic competitions. In fact, the judging is undertaken by a panel of internationally recognised experts from a variety of photographic backgrounds, so it is an achievement to be, quite rightly, proud of!”

The Guild website lists members throughout the country who offer this commitment, along with advice on how to choose a photographer that will meet your needs. You can find out more about them here www.photoguild.co.uk
