Totnes Carnival Lantern Procession - 2026 Date TBC

Experience Totnes at its most magical as the annual Lantern Parade fills the town with light and colour. This much-loved community tradition brings together families, friends and local groups, all carrying handmade lanterns in a glowing procession accompanied by music and festive cheer.

This year’s plan:

• Gather at The Rotherfold at 4:30pm with lanterns

• Walk down the High Street with live accompanying music

• Continue along Ticklemore Street

• Conclude at the square by the Dartmouth Inn, where storyteller Tony Gee will share a tale to end the evening.
