POSTPONED UNTIL 2022
Organiser statement: "Salcombe Crabfest postponed until 1st May 2022
"For several weeks, the Crabfest team has been closely monitoring the situation linked to the Coronavirus pandemic – COVID-19.
"There is currently uncertainty around future government restrictions on large scale gatherings, and it seems likely that we will go back into a tier system after lockdown, limiting the number of people that would be able to attend Crabfest. This, and the fact that the safety of our community, exhibitors, visitors, supporters, friends and family is of paramount importance to us, we have taken the decision to postpone Crabfest this year. The next Crabfest will take place on Sunday 1st May 2022.
"We would like to thank you for your continued support during these difficult times."

Inspired by the famously flavoursome brown crab caught off the South Devon coast, Salcombe Crab Festival – or Crabfest – is an annual celebration of the local fishing, food and tourism industries.

The family friendly festival is organised by the Rotary Club of Salcombe and is sponsored by Coast & Country Cottages, Favis of Salcombe and Salcombe Gin.

Entry is free and funds raised by the festival are donated to local charities and good causes.

Enjoy a full day of events including cookery demos and live music plus top quality stalls and exhibits selling an unrivalled mix of locally produced food, drink, artisan crafts, clothing, gifts and activities.

The event is hosted in Island Street, Salcombe and across the town by Rotary Club of Salcombe in conjunction with Salcombe Information Centre, Favis of Salcombe and Coast & Country Cottages to raise money for local charities.
