If you haven’t called in to see the new exhibition at Harbour House, be sure not to miss In a Landscape. Seven artists have spent the last twelve months exploring the experience of working within the landscape, resulting in a lively and varied exhibition of painting, printmaking, pewter and copper vessels, assemblage and some fascinating works produced in etched metals. The show runs until 19 June 2016.
Continuing the landscape theme, David Hamling returns to the art gallery on 21 June, with The Works: a collection including richly textured mixed media panels alongside drawings and photography exploring his beloved Dartmoor and the south Devon coast.
And if the light, bright gallery space itself at Harbour House inspires you, don’t forget that it’s available for artists to hire – and as it happens the deadline for applications for 2017 exhibitions is 1 July 2016. You’ll find plenty of information here and if you have any queries or need any help with completing an application, just get in touch with the friendly team at Harbour House who will be happy to advise and guide.
