A rape was alleged to have taken place in Kingsbridge last night. 

Devon and Cornwall Police are currently on scene at Duncombe Park in Kingsbridge after an alleged rape. 

A spokesperson for the police said: "Police are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault in Duncombe Park, Kingsbridge, on the evening of Tuesday 14 June.

"Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area between 9pm and 1am who may have seen any suspicious activity.

"A police cordon remains in place at the scene.

"Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., quoting reference CR/052521/22."
