Kingsbridge Show is always a highlight of the events calendar in the South Hams and this year was no different.

A curious cow

Animals are always one of the main attractions to Kingsbridge Show and there were plenty to see this year, whether it was the sheep and cattle entered into the livestock classes, or the small pets that you can meet!

The Kingsbridge Show committee thanked "everyone who helped make the show the success it was" and especially new stewards who "threw themselves into their new roles with real enthusiasm and can do attitude, you were brilliant".

The committee posted on their social media pages to add: "To our wonderful ladies in the members tent, you did us proud as usual, to our trade stands, craft, food and drink and caterers, our secretary and all her helpers, our new generator man, our main ring attractions, horse field and dog show, competitors,  but most of all, you the public for supporting us today, it makes all our effort worthwhile when we see you all enjoying yourselves.

"Also if anybody thinks that they would like to join the committee and have a lot of fun putting this big community event on then we would love to hear from you, all help is gratefully received."
