Lloyds Bank is closing its Kingsbridge branch on 11 October.

In a branch review by Lloyds, it said that "following an in-depth review" the branch will close on 11 October 2023.

It said that "the world is becoming more digital than ever before and more of our customers are doing their everyday banking online. With more customers choosing to use digital ways to bank and manage their money, visits at this branch have fallen. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to close it."

Lloyds has said that after the branch closes, a "community banker" will visit the area to offer "support and guidance on the ways you can bank with us" but the details of where and when that will be is not yet confirmed. The website HERE will be updated with that information in the future.

In their report on the closure, it says that 61% of customers using the Kingsbridge branch are over the age of 55 and 227 customers used the branch regularly in the last 12 months. You can download the full report HERE

The closest Lloyds Bank branches are now in Ivybridge or Totnes.
