Local photographer has once again achieved silver and bronze awards in the Guild of Professional Photographers Image of the Month competition.

Local Photographer Martyn Norsworthy, of Norsworthy Photography, has again achieved the distinction of winning one Silver & five Bronze Awards in the Guild of Professional Photographers Image of the Month competition, which attracts in excess of 1,500 entries each month! What a great end to the 2021 IOM Competition.

The Guild of Photographers is a highly respected national photographic body and its members are dedicated to enhancing their skills in the art, craft and profession of photography. Those in business are also committed to achieving the highest standards of professionalism for the benefit of their customers. They pledge themselves to delivering the highest standards of customer service and to a journey of continuing professional development.

Directors of the Guild, Steven and Lesley Thirsk, said: “We are both delighted that Martyn has achieved these Awards! The Guild has very demanding standards when judging photography competitions. In fact, the judging is undertaken by a panel of internationally recognised experts from a variety of photographic backgrounds, so it is an achievement to be, quite rightly, proud of!”

On hearing the news, Martyn said: "I am so happy, I have worked hard to get to this stage this year, and to be in the final month and gain a Silver too is a great feeling of achievement"
