Firefighters had to cut a person out of a vehicle after a single car collision in South Huish.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews from Kingsbridge  and Modbury were called to South Huish on Tuesday, 10 September, following a single vehicle collision.

Fire crews arrived at around 10.15am, after a call from Devon and Cornwall Police and the South Western Ambulance Service, to find a vehicle had rolled on to its side and one person was still inside.

A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire Rescue Service said: "Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty and made the vehicle safe. The casualty was then handed over to the ambulance crew."

The fire service left the scene at around 12.15pm.
