We are a family run haulage company based in the heart of the South Hams near Kingsbridge. Our specialist area includes the movement of waste materials using walking floor trailers. In addition to this the movement of aggregate throughout Devon and Cornwall.

Walking Floor Haulage

We have a fleet of articulated vehicles with walking floor trailers which operate Nationwide. Our walking floor trailers have hydraulically-driven moving-floor conveyance systems for moving bulk materials or palletized products. The trailers can quickly unload loose material without having to tip the trailer or tilt the floor as with other dumping systems.

Tipper Haulage

We work closely with the local quarries and our customers to ensure the best service and quality of products at all times. We deliver in south and mid Devon and East Cornwall and price accordingly depending on product, load size and delivery location. Our tippers have the carrying capacity from 1 tonne to 19.5 tonne, including a tipper with crane. Our tippers can be hired on a day work, tonnage or load basis.

 24 Hour Recovery

Commercial Vehicles, Trucks, Coaches, Van and Car recovery in South Devon. We offer a vehicle recovery service 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  We can tow your vehicle to a destination of your choice or back to our workshop at Torr Quarry for repairs.In addition to vehicle recovery we offer commercial vehicle servicing, MOTs and repairs. 

Service & Repair Workshop

We operate two fully equipped workshops at our yard at Torr Quarry, on the Totnes Road near Kingsbridge, South Devon. We can offer a wide range of services from servicing and MOTs to full overhauls of your vehicle.

Our fully trained commercial and large good vehicle mechanics are here to assist you and with a wealth of experience between them we are confident that we can help.

We cover all vehicle safety inspections as well as differing levels of servicing to fit in with your requirements. We can carry out vehicle defect rectification as well as planned maintenance.

Building Materials & Decorative Stone

We supply building materials and decorative stone to trade and private customers. We can supply at your convenience (subject to quantity), or collected from our depot near Kingsbridge. We deliver throughout the South Hams and further afield.

Coal & Logs

All of our coal is packaged in 25kg bags, our cash & carry solution enables you to collect in person and we will always have someone available to load your vehicle.

We stock a varied selection of coal and are happy to advise on which would best suit your burning requirements, we also stock firelighters, twizlers and kindling.

We also stock kiln dried and hardwood logs all at very competitive prices.

Plasterboard Recycling

We can accept both wet and dry plasterboard for recycling. As well as   accepting plasterboard delivered to our site, we can also provide a collection service using Rollon-Rolloff bins, or make bulk collections direct from your sites using walking-floor articulated vehicles. Acceptable  plasterboard wastes are old or new un-insulated plasterboard, off-cuts and damaged sheets.

Materials unacceptable in waste plasterboard include:  Wood, Plastic, Glass, Rubble, General waste, Dumpy bags, Foam/Polystyrene, Weather defence board and Metalic foil.

Public Weighbridge

If you need to obtain the weight of a vehicle whether it be a van, trailer, caravan or truck you will need to visit a public weighbridge. Located in our yard at Torr Quarry, on the Totnes Road near Kingsbridge, South Devon. we have a 40 tonne public weighbridge (plate size 8m x 3m). We hold a current certificate of competence which is issued by the Trading Standards Service. 

Boat & Caravan Scrapping
