450 Years of Unrest - An Investigation at Totnes Museum

We are absolutely thrilled to be investigating Totnes Museum for the very first time this October - and this is not your average museum ghost hunt. Not by a long way. 

Built around 1575, this Grade I listed Elizabethan merchant's house is one of the oldest surviving domestic buildings in the South West. Twelve gallery rooms, a courtyard, a herb garden and artefacts spanning thousands of years of history. It is extraordinary during the day. After dark, it is something else entirely.

Previous investigators have reported ghostly cats. Ethereal children. An angry male presence. A malevolent figure that has genuinely unsettled experienced investigators. And perhaps the most unusual report of all - multiple people have felt physically disorientated and nauseous near the old ship's mast and main staircase.

Not uneasy. Not spooked. Actually nauseous, as if the room itself is moving. Whatever is generating that, we intend to find out.

On this night we'll be running a full Ghostly Nights investigation across all three floors - EVP, spirit box, trigger objects, dowsing, vigils and free roam. Small groups, our experienced team on hand all night. This is a venue that we think will test even the most seasoned investigators in the room.
