Car collides with telephone pole

Totnes Fire Crew were called to a single car collision, leaving a telephone pole in the road. 

When crews arrived on scene, the driver was being seen by an ambulance and the crew made the vehicle safe before moving it to one side of the carriageway in order to reopen the road. 

A nearby worker used a chainsaw to cut the telephone pole into more manageable sized pieces and crews were able to move it out of the road and into the hedge.
