Dancing in the World's Smallest Nightclub leads to donation to food bank

People paying £1 to play a song and have a boogie in the World's Smallest Nightclub has lead to a donation to the food bank. 

The World's Smallest Nightclub, located in the old phone box at the top of Fore Street, Kingsbridge, outside the police station, has a music player inside where you can pay a pound to play a song and have a dance either on your own or with a friend, or two if they're small.

These donations have added up to a £275 donation to Kingsbridge Mayor's charity, Kingsbridge Food Bank.

Mayor of Kingsbridge, Councillor Philip Cole, presented the cheque to the Kingsbridge Area Foodbank's chair of trustees Jackie Visser on Wednesday, 24 May. 

Cllr Cole called the food bank a "very worthy recipient" which "currently supports 175 households in the wider Kingsbridge area".
