Kingsbridge to hold service of commemoration

Kingsbridge Town Council is holding a community civic service of commemoration in memory of Her Majesty The Queen. 

Kingsbridge Town Council is holding a special civic community service that will take place to commemorate the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at 11am on Saturday, 17 September, at St Edmund's Church, Fore Street, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1PP.

The Town Mayor, Councillor Philip Cole, civic leaders, representatives from the Royal British Legion and other organisations will be present.

All are welcome to attend this community time of coming together in a service of remembrance and thanksgiving to express our grief and also thankfulness. The service will also incorporate the proclamation for the accession of His Majesty King Charles III.

Floral tributes and bouquets may be left at the bandstand and a Book of Condolence is available for your written messages at the Council Offices, Quay House between 9.30am and 1pm, Monday to Friday.
