Man sentenced following Dartmouth jewellery theft

A Plymouth man has been sentenced following a jewellery theft in Dartmouth. 

Paul Easby, 46, of Holmes Avenue, Plymouth. was arrested on Tuesday, 17 October, and subsequently charged with theft from a shop.

He appeared before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 18 October, and pleaded guilty.

Easby was sentenced to six weeks jail, suspended for 12 months.

He was also ordered to pay compensation to the victim to the value of £685.
