Open day in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance raises more than £700

An open day at Martin Pears Engineering has raised £783 for the Devon Air Ambulance. 

An open day featuring farm equipment displays, industry experts and charity raffle has raised £783 for The Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The event, held on Wednesday, April 27, at Martin Pears Engineering Ltd, was attended by various manufacturers and experts from across the country, offering advice and solutions for farmers, smallholders and the rural community.

A charity raffle was also held on the day, raising £783 for The Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Louise Pears, director at Martin Pears Engineering Ltd, said: “We are delighted that the open day was so well supported by the local farming community and thrilled to have raised the amount for a great charity. What the Devon Air Ambulance provides to our county is invaluable and we are extremely grateful for the generosity of all those who donated prizes and purchased raffle tickets.”
