Devon and Cornwall Police are asking "Are you secure?" after a string of agricultural thefts in the region.
PC Whitting, Rural Affairs - Devon, said: "Over recent weeks we have seen an increase in the theft of items such as agricultural plant and machinery, quad bikes, horse trailers and various tools and equipment. Farms, businesses, yards and also rural properties have all been targeted.
"Initially they were located on the North of Devon, in particular, Holsworthy and South Molton, but are increasing across the South West.
"Please see the attached sheet which provides guidance on how to improve your security in a variety of ways."
