No further action after woman's body found in Dartington
A man who was arrested after a woman's body was discovered in Dartington has been released without charge.
UPDATE: The man who was arrested after a woman's body was discovered in Dartington has been released and police are taking no further action.
The woman, who was in her 30s, has not been publicly named but her next of kin have been informed.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Devon and Cornwall Police were called by the South Western Ambulance Service to a property in Weavers Way, Dartington, Totnes, at 1.30am on Sunday, 7 March, following reports of a concern for the welfare of a woman inside the address.
When emergency services arrived on scene, a female in her 30s was confirmed dead. Her next of kin have been informed.
The death is currently being treated as "unexplained" and "enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident".
A 37-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested in connection to the incident and remains in police custody at this time.
A scene guard remains in place whilst officers carry out enquiries at the scene.
